After months of research of Jazz’s dam’s line and the possibilities of a large heart being passed down to him we decided to have his heart sized at CSU. We found that so far, there is no Morgan horse who has had it’s heart sized, that has as large a heart as Jazz.  His heart is 10% larger than an average Thoroughbred stallion's.

We have found that as our horses were brought up to this altitude, their red blood cell count went up on the average 5% in a 4-6 week period.
